Each brand below is run by people who do nothing else, and every one of them is the same company, so whichever you deal with, you are dealing with one business, and one number reaches all of them.

Nord Group is the trading name for the group of companies: four brands covering what keeps a home warm, cool and running. Each has its own engineers and its own accreditations, and all four answer to the same office, the same records and the same contract. ArcticNord also works on commercial air conditioning.

Why a group
Most homes need more than one trade. Most firms only sell one.
A house rarely has one thing wrong with it. The boiler is on borrowed time, someone has mentioned a heat pump, the electricity bill has climbed again, and there's a room that has never been comfortable in summer.
Handled by four different firms that becomes four surveys, four sets of assumptions, and four people to chase when something falls down the gap between them, usually the gap between whoever fitted the heating and whoever did the electrics.
Nord Group exists so it doesn't have to. Its four brands work predominantly in homes, each genuinely specialist, the same engineers and the same accreditations you'd get from a standalone firm, but sharing one office, one set of records and one relationship with you.

Five specialisms, one company behind them. Each is run by people who do nothing else, so what follows is what each actually takes on, and where it matters, what it does not.
Air conditioning
The only one of us that works commercially as well
ArcticNord installs, services, maintains and repairs air conditioning for homes and, uniquely within Nord Group, for commercial sites. Split systems, multi-splits and VRF.
Engineers are F-Gas certified, which is the legal requirement for anyone handling refrigerant. Where a system sits under a maintenance contract, we hold the statutory F-Gas logbook and set leak-check intervals from its CO₂-equivalent charge.

Boilers & heating
Boiler installation, and only boiler installation
EmberNord installs gas boilers, heating systems and hot water for homes, from a straight swap-out to a full system replacement.
It is an installation business. It does not take on servicing or repair, and says so rather than taking the booking and letting you find out later. All work is carried out by Gas Safe Register certified engineers, which is a legal requirement for anyone working on gas appliances.

Air source heat pumps
Sized against the house, not a rule of thumb
AuraNord designs, installs and services air source heat pumps for homes. Sizing comes from a room-by-room heat loss calculation for the actual property, because a heat pump sized by rule of thumb is the single most common reason one costs more to run than promised.
AuraNord is MCS certified, which is what makes an installation eligible for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant. Certification is held centrally by Qualis Energy Limited through NAPIT.

Solar PV & battery storage
Generation, storage and export, from one team
ZenithNord installs and maintains solar PV and battery storage for homes. System size is calculated in design software against the actual roof (pitch, orientation and shading) using twelve months of your consumption.
ZenithNord is MCS certified for solar PV. Commercial and industrial solar is not its work; that goes to SOLARFIELD.

Turning a roof into a balance-sheet asset
SOLARFIELD designs and delivers rooftop and ground-mount solar PV with battery storage for commercial and industrial sites nationwide, warehouses, production buildings, offices and industrial estates. It does no residential work; domestic solar is ZenithNord.
Proposals are modelled against your actual drawings and your actual half-hourly metered data, not generic assumptions.

We survey it properly
The right specialist attends: sometimes more than one, on the same visit. We measure and record rather than estimate, because a proposal built on assumptions gets corrected later at your expense.
You get it in writing
Fixed where it can honestly be fixed, and explicit about what's excluded. Each brand quotes in its own way, so several brands can mean several quotations, with one person coordinating them.
We deliver, then we maintain
One project manager and one set of records. Afterwards the same team holds the maintenance contract, so the people who fix it are the people who fitted it, and they know which warranty covers what.

Checked by people whose job it is to be difficult
Refrigerant handling, gas safety, renewables certification and health-and-safety prequalification, assessed independently, renewed on a cycle, and available on request. We also say plainly what we are not accredited for.
